Blink and your emotions go from elation to exhaustion and frustration. You have rooted, pushed, and supported so many others. After the 'congrats' have subsided, you wonder when will you be next.
The middle is also the sweet spot, It is in this vantage point you discovery what people truly think about you, sifting out true supports from those that are hanging around just in case you make it. There will be others that question your assignment as much as you do - if not more. Their eyes are judging you from the stance of credibility while your eyes judge yourself from the stance of worthiness.
